CPT secures Heathrow charge reductions

CPT UK has been working with Heathrow Airport and the London Tourist Coach Operators Association (LTCOA) to secure an agreement that the charges for coach operators using the West Ramp Coach Park will be reduced to £21.56 per vehicle for 2015 and 2016. This is a reduction of 7% against the current price. The new charge will apply from 1 January. The charge will be reviewed during 2016 to determine prices for using the coach park in 2017.

CPT Operations Director, Stephen Smith, said, ‘This is a significant agreement with Heathrow Airport and a positive result for coach operators using the West Ramp Coach Park. To achieve this cost reduction and to have it held for two years, will give operators a degree of certainty when pricing their contracts and enable them to stay competitive.’
