CPT members urged to ‘get voices heard’

Richard Bamber, Chair of CPT North Western, is urging members to join him for the next regional meeting on Monday 10 July under the watchful eye of Concorde at the Runway Visitor Park, Manchester Airport.

As well as receiving the latest news and industry updates from CPT, those joining for the evening (from 1730hrs) will hear presentations from the former Senior Traffic Commissioner, Beverley Bell CBE, the Greater Manchester Police Terrorism Unit (tbc) and CPT’s Head of Public Affairs, Pauline Gaunt OBE.  Following the presentations and subsequent question and answer session, operators will have an opportunity to view the latest Neoplan Tourliner coach which includes interior upholstery from the evening’s sponsor, Ultrafabrics.

Speaking about this and future meetings in the region, Richard, Managing Partner at Anthony’s Travel, said: “I urge all CPT members in the north west to get involved with regional meetings in order to share views and discuss best practice in order to help make a positive difference to our industry. It really is the best way to get your voices heard. While CPT North Western is not promising to invent supersonic coach and bus travel, we are working tirelessly to bring about effective change within the industry while continuing to represent and protect members’ best interests.”

Richard added: “The theme of our September meeting has already been confirmed: Disability, Accessibility, Awareness & Training. This event will be held at Viva Blackpool on Monday 4 September 2017.”
