Colour changing buses

It is hoped passengers in Nottingham are not fooled this April over colour changing buses being launched by Nottingham City Transport (NCT). The operator has introduced seven new Scania ADL Enviro400s onto its South Notts route 1, which operates between Nottingham, Clifton, East Leake and Loughborough. The vehicles feature ‘smart paint technology’, according to a press release issued this morning (1 April). NCT claims this paint allows the double deckers’ onboard Wi-Fi and a Colour Dashboard app to change the vehicle’s shade to match customer demand. A YouTube video demonstrating this ‘world exclusive’ technology has been released.
