Coach Services take Enviro200s

Coach Services Ltd of Thetford, Norfolk has added three ADL Enviro200s to its fleet, two 10.8m versions and another 9.6m. They have Esteban Civic V2 seats, 39 in the 10.8m vehicles and 33 in the 9.6m model. Other features include bonded side glazing, a radio/CD entertainment system, Mobitec destination displays and a fold out ramp. Power is provided by the Cummins ISBe 4.5l Euro5 diesel engine driving through an Allison automatic gearbox.

Coach Services Transport Manager, Robert Crawford, said, ‘With their reputation for fuel economy and the attractive deal ADL offered us, the Enviro200s were ideal for what we needed to upgrade some of our key routes. The support from ADL has been excellent and, at over 13.5mpg, the vehicles have delivered the expected economy in operation. Our customers are very happy with them, they appreciate the bright interior and moquette seating.’
