Citeas for Finland

Finnish operator, Pohjolan Liikenne, has again placed an order at VDL Bus & Coach, requesting ten Citea LLEs. They are destined for the city of Kuopio and will be delivered before the summer of this year. Since 1 January 2014, 29 Citeas have been in use for city transport in Helsinki. The Citea LLEs for Kuopio have, like the ones for the Finnish capital, a 39+1 seating arrangement and space for around 40 standing passengers. The vehicles are equipped with a telematics and surveillance system.

MD of Pohjolan Liikenne, Heikki Alanko, said, ‘The low weight of the Citea LLE results in a long service life and low fuel consumption, that made the choice very easy for us.’
