The Herbert Crown Memorial Award honours achievement in transport scholarship, management systems, training, research, authorship and publication, or any other knowledge enhancing transport activities. The Institute’s International Knowledge Centre provides members with access to leading information from around the world in all areas of logistics, transport and the supply chain.

CILT Chairman, Professor Richard Wilding OBE FCILT, said, ‘I am delighted that the Institute’s Knowledge Centre has been recognised as a centre for information excellence at the Carmen Transport Awards. The Knowledge Centre provides members with support and information to assist them in their careers and professional development and it is a great honour to receive the Herbert Crow Memorial Award. Access to knowledge facilitates action and innovation and the CILT Knowledge Centre enables our members to create impact within the environments they work.’
