CILT to launch new PCV qualifications

CILT is designing a new three-tier Bus and Coach qualification. The first tier qualification will equip drivers and technicians with the knowledge and skills to become a Supervisor/Junior Leader. The course, provisionally titled the ‘Certificate in First Line Management (Bus and Coach Sector)’ will consist of three units: Bus Company Operations, Bus Company Finance and Managing People in a Bus Company. The second and third tiers will be tailored to individual’s progression to management and director levels, respectively.
