Catteralls’ second Irizar integral

Warwickshire operator Catteralls Coaches has collected its second Irizar integral, a 12.9m 70-seat i4. It is powered by the DAF MX11 326bhp engine. The operator took delivery of a 14m tri-axle i6 in 2015 and another i6 will join the fleet at Easter.

MD of Catteralls, Paul Catterall, said, ‘I have to say I’m very happy with the aftersales service we’ve had from Irizar UK. We bought an i6 Integral last year, and on the odd occasion when we’ve had any issue, it’s chased up properly. It’s very important to an operator that there are mobile service technicians. I’m very pleased with it and our customers like it, too. The seating leaves plenty of legroom. The coach spends most of its time with one of our drivers. We have specified the EcoLife automatic gearbox, though, in case we have a second driver. There’s no learning curve for someone unfamiliar with the vehicle.’
