ADL sees revenue growth in 2015

Alexander Dennis Ltd (ADL) has reported strong results for the year ended 31 December 2015. It registered 1,228 new buses in the UK during the 12 months, which is up 12% on 2014. Sales figures of £602m were reported, up 20% on the previous year. Profit before tax amounted to £23m, up from the £13m in 2014. The company says it maintains a market share of 43%. The manufacturer reported a record international revenue of £261m, 58% up from 2014’s £165m. A particularly strong international market was Hong Kong, where it says that by 2017 it will have delivered over 2,500 of its MMC Enviro500s since their launch in 2013. In its financial report, the manufacturer says it will aim to continue the momentum currently set.
