415 Volvos for Singapore

Singapore based SBS Transit has placed an order for a further 415 Volvo B9TL based double deckers. The development follows the order of 150 Volvo B9TL double deckers in 2009, 300 in 2010 and a further 565 in 2012/2013. Altogether, by 2017, Volvo Buses will have delivered 1,415 Volvo B9TL Euro5 buses to SBS Transit. The chassis for this latest order will be produced in Boras, Sweden, while the bodywork will be made by Wrightbus and mounted in Singapore. Deliveries will commence in July 2015 and be completed by mid-2017.
