2013 Fleet Hero Awards

The deadline for public or private sector organisations based in England to enter the Energy Saving Trust’s 2013 Fleet Hero Awards has been extended to 23 August 2013, with the awards themselves taking place on 28 November. The awards celebrate the country’s ‘green’ fleet champions, recognising organisations that are achieving environmental best practice by implementing innovative solutions to reduce carbon emissions and being efficient and environmentally friendly in their operations. Last year the awards attracted over 100 entries from all sectors of industry. It is free to enter and the application process is straightforward, initially requiring only a 250 word entry outlining why the organisation should win.

The awards criteria are viewable on the Energy Saving Trust website (www.energysavingtrust.org.uk/Organisations/Transport/Events/Fleet-Hero-Awards/Fleet-Hero-Awards-2013-categories).
